I have done consulting work in the areas of systems analysis, systems design, and database systems with several companies including IBM and Exxon Mobile.

Teaching

I have taught courses in the areas of systems analysis, systems design, database systems, Programming Languages, Applied Artificial Intelligence, and Emerging Technologies for Data Sciences.

Synergistic Activities

Innovation in teaching and training:

1. As a department head, developed and implemented several undergraduate and graduate program curriculum in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Telecom and Network Management. Developed a STEM-designated Graduate level MIS program.

2. Helped develop graduate and undergraduate MIS curriculum for the University of Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

3. Supervised fifteen Ph.D. dissertations.

4. Refinement of research tools: Co-developed a new process (method) of research investigation in artificial intelligence.

5. Algorithms for problem-solving:

      a. Co-developed an improved genetic algorithm   and

      b. Developed commercial medical practice software for physicians, and several accounting software such as General Ledger and Pay Roll.
